Our Approach
At Mine Your Mind, LLC, Our program’s mission, is to provide the safest mental health and addiction care. We aim to for our program is ultimately to improve the mental health care provided to patients in our “community” and beyond. In doing so we seek to enhance the development and well-being of our trainees and faculty so that they can better serve our patients and become the psychiatrists they strive to be.

Group therapy, is a type of psychotherapy that involves a group of clients and one or more therapists working together to:

Express feelings:
Clients share their problems, feelings, ideas, and reactions in a safe space

Clients learn from each other's experiences and become "therapeutic helpers" for one another.

Improve coping skills:
Clients learn more constructive ways of coping with their issues.

Couples therapy, also known as psychotherapy or talk therapy, is a process that can help couples improve their relationship through a variety of techniques:
Identifying issues: The therapist and couple work to identify the problems in the relationship, such as sexual difficulties, jealousy, or intimacy.
Exploring the past: The therapist and couple may explore the couple's past to understand the roots of current problems.
Focusing on solutions: The therapist and couple may work to focus on the positives in the relationship and redirect negative behaviors.
Improving communication: The therapist and couple may work to improve their communication skills.
Establishing goals: The therapist and couple may establish clear objectives for the therapy.
Individual sessions: The therapist may have some individual sessions with each partner to understand their needs.
Couples therapy sessions are typically held once or twice a week and last around 45–60 minutes. The number of sessions needed depends on the couple's goals, the severity of the issues, and how quickly the process progresses.
